My top 5 best edited films . . . .

*This is a tough category to pick, and more along the lines of pacing as apposed to actually editing technique because that's something I can't see and therefor analyze, same would go for special effects, there are some effects in movies that most people don't even realize are effects and the best kind are invisible and help the story flow, they aren't gaudy or draw attention to themselves, but that's not what this list is about. This is about cutting things together.*

1.# All that Jazz ~ / ~ ~ *I would show the final scene of this movie but I don't wanna ruin it.
2.# City of God - (*It starts 50 seconds in . . . )
3.# Requiem for a Dream ~
4.# Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind ~ (Ever had a conversation with a girl like this only more disturbing?)
5.# The Man with the Movie Camera ~

* Runner ups * Inglorious Bastards & 2001 : A Space Odyssey

Also there are two particular sequences in two films that are very noteworthy. The leg break scene in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" (* Can't find it on youtube so here's this lovely scene.) and a scene in the Wrestler which involves staples. (*But they don't have that one so here's this moment.)

This is Daniel Krone, reminding you that great films have orgasms.
